First six months

During a visit to Nigaragua in March 2013 my Canon G11 got fried after having a fight with a bottle of water.  Since the water and camera were in Cathy's bag I decided to exercise a little emotional leaverage and float the idea of the new Fuji X100s.  Using the X100s for the last six months has reinvigorated my photography.  People seem to either love this camera or hate it: I love it.  Yes, it has its limitations but it feels right for me.
Take a look at what Zack Arias  says about the X100s http://zackarias.com/for-photographers/gear-gadgets/fuji-x100s-review-a-camera-walks-into-a-bar/
My main interest is B&W and process RAW (RAF) iles through LR and Nik Silver Efex Pro2.

I love taking pictures particularly black & white.  Working to get what's in my mind's eye on to a print is frustrating, intimidating and sometimes just downright impossible.  But when it goes right, unbelievabley rewarding.  If you see any pictures in any of my galleries that you like please let me know.
